Arroyo Grande held it’s Centennial celebration over the weekend of July 10th, 2011 and we were extremely pleased to have been given the chance to be a part of the commemoration.  We ended up doing quite a bit of decor for the different events being held that weekend, but our hands down favorite was the Centennial Ball.  The simple addition of some elegant ceiling decor turned the room into a truly amazing space to host a party or event, but seemed to add something special to the charming festivities of the night.  The challenge of this event started with something as simple as the colors.  To get the particular shade of gold just right to match the event, we had to special order two different shades from Qualatex, after testing multiple combinations, and run the batch through a process we call ‘stuffing’ which combines the two colors to achieve that perfect end result.  The process is similar to how you combine colors in photo editing or stage lighting, due to the additive light properties of the latex balloons.
