How much are your delivery and set up fees?

For single items, such as a balloon column, topiary, or centerpiece, and many of our floral arrangements, we charge a fee of $10 in the greater San Luis Obispo area (including Morro Bay and Los Osos), which includes delivery and on-site placement. The fee is marginally higher for North or South County locations, such as Templeton, Atascadero, and Paso Robles, or Shell Beach, Pismo Beach, Arroyo Grande, and Grover Beach. For any other event or location within California or the Western United States please Contact Us.

Please note that any instances requiring event premises consultation and/or significant on-site set up procedures, the delivery fee will be waived or included within your event’s package price.

How early do I have to place an order for my party or event?

We appreciate as much advance notice as possible, but understand that event planning can be unexpectedly unpredictable and will strive to accommodate your requests in all situations.  Please keep in mind that turn around time also depends on the size of your event, the location it is held at, and the type of decor you wish to be on display.

As a general rule of thumb, we ask for a minimum of 3-4 days notice on single items such as a balloon column, topiary, or centerpiece, and many of our floral arrangements in standard colors.  For custom colors/color combinations, and larger events that require multiple pieces of decor, we ask for 2-3 weeks notice to accommodate order and shipping time frames and to provide time for custom consultation.

What colors are available to order balloons or flowers in?

Balloons can be found in many different colors, and can even be custom ordered to your specifications if the ordering quantity is large enough.  We generally keep a standard set of Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue and Purple balloons in stock to work with and can even combine standard colors for an extra fee to more closely match your desired outcome.  Balloons also come in many different finishes and materials/strengths, some with satin, gloss or metallic finishes, some designed specifically for outdoor or indoor use, and made strictly for day use or to last a bit longer.

Flower colors are much more dependent upon the season, the flower type, and the budget of the event.  For custom consideration, out-of-season requests, painted flowers or large quantity orders in specific colors please place an Order Inquiry or Contact Us.

What are the environmental and health impacts of balloon décor?

Many customers ask us if our balloons are safe for outdoor use and in sensitive environments, or where they are interested in “launching” the balloons into unrecoverable circumstances. For these situations we can gladly inform you that we’ve been hand tying our balloons for the last 35 years, which allows for our Qualatex 100% latex balloons to biodegrade completely and decompose as quickly as an oak leaf.
